I had the incredible honor of closing out Women’s History Month in the best way I know how—surrounded by powerhouse women and rising leaders at the @RocNation_School EmpowerHerMent event.
The room was electric.
I shared the stage with trailblazing women from across the sports and music industries—each of us walking different paths, yet connected by a shared purpose: to lift as we climb. Together, we explored what it means to build a career in male-dominated spaces, how to navigate uncertainty with resilience, and why building meaningful relationships will always be more powerful than chasing titles.
We didn’t sugarcoat the journey. We spoke honestly about the obstacles we’ve faced—imposter syndrome, being the only woman in the room, balancing ambition with wellness—and how we continue to carve out space for ourselves and others.
What made the event truly special, though, were the students. Their questions were thoughtful. Their energy was magnetic. And their presence reminded me that while there may be no one-size-fits-all playbook for success in sports or entertainment, there is a growing community of women committed to writing new rules.
As much as we poured into them, they poured right back into us. I left feeling hopeful, inspired, and more certain than ever that the future of these industries is in brilliant, bold, and beautifully capable hands.
Thank you to the Roc Nation School for creating space for these necessary conversations—and to every student who showed up ready to dream bigger.
The future is hers. Let’s keep building it, together.
